We discovered (appropriate, we know) Annika Connor at the Gen Art 15th Anniversary Benefit where her wonderful watercolor works jumped out at us. The subject matter was anything but diluted. Her paintings depict a fascination with beauty and decadence. They also tend to replicate fragments from daydreams portraying a sense of romance. In this case, those dreams were about dancers.
